Phase 2 x Old School Writer

Also called Lonny Wood, has been described as the “Father of Style”, is considered by many one of the Graffiti artists from the 70′s that are respected old school writers in the Bronx, New York.

He is said to be the first to create the style “bubble letters”

Starting from the basic design of the work of Super Kool, wrote his name in huge, hollow, but well formed, colored and shaped, which he named “bubble letters”.

Many modern-day graffiti artists worldwide, clearly derived their innovative style ornaments that Phase 2 created. Phase 2 ignited a later stageĀ  war break out in Style (Style Wars) thanks to the step they took in the evolution of primitive custom tags to letters and body shape.

What up??? People who know their true history (as does the man) don't call themseves graffiti Artists. Thats type lame too and a diss to an educated head.

and the dudes not an AKA that even relates to or uses a slave name. Those writers who do are considered type wack primarily because most are just trying to be accepted by the general public. What got them famous?? Certainly not by writing John Jones 123. Bitch move!!

"OLD SCHOOL" IS PRETTY PLAYED. IT'S MORE APPROPRIATE FOR OLD HEADS WITH OLD STYLES AND OLD ASSES COMING OUT OF THE WOODWORK STILL TRYING TO CATCH SOME FAME. MAD WACK!

You have to respect that the man's an artist still taking writing and his art to another level and not living off the fame he had in the 70"s. Not one out of many or of a genre. Thats true artism!

On the history tip dude didnt just create the bubble style (Superkools "pieces" were his signature painted over and over not bubble letters)He created the first wild letters and the loops and the arrows as well on pieces that were adapted and circulated throughout the culture.

It doesn't end there but we're just giving you a heads up because if you're going to drop science and really want to tell it true you have to do it correctly and respectively in relation to what it's about and also who you are dropping it on.

    PEACE

Ok…to know Phase2 or any writer is to know that there are a few things he (or any writer) would NOT appreciate. First off putting his govt name on blast…must respect! 2ndly describing the art (that he basically fathered) the "G" word (yal know what i'm talking about). FOR TRUE HEADS…the artist is called a "Writer" and the artform can be called "Writing" or "Aerosol Art". LEARN YOUR HISTORY before blogging! My source is from my mentor PHASE2. He will be notified about this blog.
