This is rediculous. Your hatin on banksy when its two different styles of graff. So what if he does stencils, hes hit up some crazy spots and hes gotten up. just because its not your style doesnt mean its not graff. there is no real definiton for graff, its what you make it. i mean i dont use stencils myself, but ill give banksy props for some of the shit hes done. you guys are tryin to compare the same thing with with a different style, i just find it stupid

Im an art history student planning a mock exhibition on Graffiti art. Im interested in why Banksy is not considered a real artist….. are "writters" normally called Taggers? Im using him in my exhibition and the discussion struck my interest. I have never heard of this Robbo. Im interested in the use of street art so if anyone has any suggestions of artists please respond back.
Robbo sucks, that piece that banksy went over was shit. yeah its old as fuck but just cuz its old doesnt make it nice, i honestly didnt like it at all. banksy shouldnt have gone over it outta respect but to say he's not a writer is just retarted
hes not a graff writer hes a street artist and hes good at it
well i remember a time before stencil artist. and writers would make stencils as another element to their work. but for someone to take just one part of graffiti and say they are a writer its like someone just tagging and calling them self a writer…..and graffiti is one of the most creative forms of art. i dont find someone printing out a picture off the internet and tracing it into a stencil to be very creative. thats just a start.
Banksy is not a writer logically as he does not write his name, he spends about five minutes photo shopping a photo of a rat from an online tutorial, writes some hipster babble above it and cuts it out and then spends another five minutes spraying it on the streets. Street art requires no real talent or guts, not beefing just pointing out the facts.
Banksy actually draws his own art for stencils…..hes an amazing artist. I suggest watching Exit Through the Gift Shop….it'll give you a better look at Banksy's style, motives, etc.
BANKSY is a legend on the UK graff scene, stencils are just as important to graff as bombin your name. BANKSY's graff is fresh and deserves much respect. ROBBO needs to let this beef lie, BANKSY is all over it.

Banksy has hit so sick spots were no-one else have ever hitted so whata fuck? you say he aint writer? And guys, banksy tags his name allover the place, allmost all of his pieces are signed. And how much banksy have done the pieces, way more than you. Banksy have made graff longer than you've been on this planet.
Yeah it's shit when someone buffs your piece but it's normal. So why to fuck destroy and hate one guys work because one little shit. I think the old robbo were'nt even great.
